"When I start painting, I never know if it will actually work
until I reach the final stage. This is the moment of
exhilaration that all artist wait for, but which seldom comes.
When that special moment presents itself, all of those long
hours of struggle seem worthwhile. I feel that a moment in time
has been captured, and it is very satisfying.
